Safer Internet Day 2015 – What are you doing to celebrate?

Safer Internet Day 2015 will be celebrated globally on Tuesday 10th February 2015 with the slogan ‘Let’s create a better internet together’. Schools and settings throughout the UK and beyond are being encouraged to visit www.saferinternet.org.uk/safer-internet-day/2015 for education packs, supporter registration and ideas for getting involved.

The Kent e-Safety Officer would like to invite all Kent schools and settings to share their plans for activity on the day so work across Kent can be highlighted and celebrated.

Schools and settings can contact the e-Safety Officer directly with their plans or can comment below to showcase what they will be doing to celebrate SID 2015!

  1. We (Sandgate Primary School) will be planning a day of activities, using the Safer Internet Day 2015 resources, to promote our school’s commitment to staying safe while still getting the most out of going online.

  2. Lizzie Clark says:

St Stephen’s Infant School in Canterbury are having an e-safety week. We will start with an assembly, then every day each class will be doing a 30 minute activity (such as making posters, videos, awareness bands, songs, ect). At the end of the week we will have a celebration assembly to share all our lovely work! We also have a team of ‘Safe Surfers’ (2 children from each class) who plan and help organise the week!
