Information from Childnet International – “Sexting and the Law”

Following a news report on the 13th January 2014, where a teenager in Canada was found guilty of possessing and distributing images of child abuse by forwarding naked images of her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend, Childnet International have posted some helpful information for schools and education settings regarding Sexting and the possible legal implications on their blog.

The information also signposts useful resources for settings to use to help start discussions to enable students to consider consequences and risks.
